The GREENville HOUSE and other happenings

Spring has been especially busy around our Raleigh, NC Headquarters. We have completed several exciting projects including the 55,000 gallon cistern for the new Hospice of Wake County. It is fully functional and supplying fresh, clean rainwater for the beautiful new landscape. The cistern fills with about an inch of rain fall.

We have also just completed our work on the system for the new Raleigh Convention Center - a LEED Silver Facility.

"Committed to helping customers 'green' their meetings, the Raleigh Convention Center exceeded its own goals, attaining the Silver Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) Certification. While the award puts the RCC alongside six other U.S. centers that have achieved a degree of LEED certification*, the region's overall sustainability profile makes it a one-of-a-kind destination."

We also completed the cistern work on the Walters Residence in Greenville, NC. We partnered with Tonic Design Tonic Construction, also  of Raleigh, to collect rainwater from the homes roof to supply water for irrigation. The Raleigh News and Observer featured the home in last weekends paper.
