Lynn Ruck, she/her, co-founder and Director Of World Headquarters

Lynn was born and raised in Raleigh, NC and graduated college with a Commercial Photography degree. After working in many photography studios and for the North Carolina Museum of Art she started and ran her own photography business for 13 years. While she and Mike were working day jobs they discovered their combined passion for water conservation that lead to them starting Rain Water Solutions in 2002. Selling rain barrels was a part time gig that grew into a full time love for protecting and conserving water.  Lynn wears many hats at Rain Water Solutions, including providing oversight of the company’s core business of rain barrel production, sales and logistics. She also coordinates marketing, municipal programs, and the myriad of other daily tasks involved in running a growing business. Lynn is motivated by creatively “thinking outside of the box” and is focused on new market development as well as education and outreach. She enjoys working with our partners across the country to provide their residents information about the benefits using rain barrels.  During her time off she enjoys hiking, kayaking, time with friends and family and traveling. Her favorite holiday is the 4th of July.
