How is Moby made?

Moby is a rotationally molded product. Rotational molding, also known as roto-molding, is a molding process for creating many kinds of mostly hollow items, typically of plastic.   A heated hollow mold is filled with a charge or shot weight of material, in our case it’s 100% recycled HDPE – high-density polyethylene. The plastic we use is a combination of pre and post consumer material. The percentage varies depending on what is available. The GREENville HOUSE and other happenings

Spring has been especially busy around our Raleigh, NC Headquarters. We have completed several exciting projects including the 55,000 gallon cistern for the new Hospice of Wake County. It is fully functional and supplying fresh, clean rainwater for the beautiful new landscape. The cistern fills with about an inch of rain fall. We have also just completed our work on the system for the new Raleigh Convention Center - a LEED Silver Facility. 65 Gallon Ice Cube?

The weather has finally broken and NC is finally back to seasonal temperatures. We survived roughly 20 straight days with high temperatures in the Triangle area below the seasonal norm (55 on Dec. 27 was the last time we pushed above normal). The lows were in the teens for many of those long cold nights. Our official recommendation is to winterize your rain barrels just to be on the safe side.
