Directions

Masks are required during pick up. County staff will be masked and employing COVID precautions. Individuals should remain in their cars for pick up, staff will load the barrel/s in the vehicle. Please make adequate space in your vehicle to ensure a smooth process and reduce contact.

 

Please be sure to keep your confirmation email. You will be notified by email prior to the event as a reminder to pick up your rain barrel December 12th. 

Questions about picking up:
How do I purchase?  You can click the Buy Now button below, choose the number of rain barrels you would like to purchase and then pay by credit card. You will pick up your item(s) at the event location above.

What if I can not pick up my rain barrel(s) on event day?  We can not guarantee holding your items for a later pick up. You can have a friend or neighbor pick up for you as long as they have your name, receipt and/or order #.

When placing your order you only need to fill in a Billing Address that matches your credit card billing statement.

This rain barrel program is brought to you by the Alachua County Environmental Protection Department which encourages homeowners to drop off hazardous wastes such as paints, CFLs, and old electronics at the HazWaste Center on Dec. 12th and pick up a rain barrel for conserving water and reducing stormwater runoff.
