"Great Rain Barrel" The set up of the rain barrel was very easy. I also bought two short hoses for both the top and bottom spigots. We have it sitting a foot off the ground to get more pressure. So far it works great. We were disappointed at how slow the water comes out when the barrel is low but that is physics not the fault of the rain barrel. I really like the ease of taking the lid off. This way I can clean it and also just bucket water out. "Absolutely the BEST!" It is used to collect rainwater for my gardens. I have two soaker hoses attached + overflow fill the trough for the deer. I also bought the copper lily chain (grand daughter's name is Lily) and will buy another to place at breezeway so chain can be used. Teach those kids early how to conserve and and be environmentally friendly! "Made in the USA" "Thanks, I received it today and it appeared to be in good condition. I am having some grading done to direct sump pump water away from the house and the landscaper ran across a problem figuring out how to drain one of my down spouts without washing across a patio. I got on the Internet and found your Rain Barrel and it arrived just in time. When we unwrapped it the landscaper said " oh good, made in the USA, not some cheap piece of junk from Walmart, China." Thumbs up to you!" - Michele S. (via email) "400 gallons collected! " "Yesterday we traveled from Durham to buy two of your barrels, came home, looked at our downspouts, and hustled over to Lowe's for some flexible downspout extensions. We got home and had the whole system, including a couple of trash cans for overflow, set up just as we got the best rain of the summer (3/4"). What timing! In minutes we had the Rain Kings full and went on to fill the trash cans, 4 mortar mixing tubs (c. 20 gals ea.), and every 5 gal. bucket we had scavenged from construction sites all summer. In all we collected about 400 gallons of rainwater. The bonus was that it was a wonderful rain on one of my two weekly watering days, so the hour we spent running around in the rain playing with the buckets and learning how our system works was nothing compared to the 2-1/2 hours it takes to water just the plantings (not the lawn) each Saturday evening. And I now have enough water to keep the plantings going between watering days for several weeks if not the rest of the summer. Our thanks to you for a wonderful (and timely) product. You're making it easy for us to do the right thing waterwise." - Anne W., Durham, NC "Thanks! " "Thanks. I already have 1 of your barrels. I love your rain barrel!" - Suzanne (via email) "I recently bought a rain barrel from you. The thing filled up in one rain! Thanks" - Dan B., Cary, NC "Thanks so much. Our rain barrel looks really nice, and I can't wait for it to rain!" - Susan I., Baltimore, MD "The scouts were educated on the water-conservation measures that your product delivers" (see photos) "I promised to send you some pictures from my shed where I installed your rain barrels as a scout program. I had the scouts from Cub Pack 225 at St. Bernadette's in Westlake, Ohio over to help with the installation of the rain barrels. The barrels are perfect and the scouts were educated on the water-conservation measures that your product delivers-thank you so much for all your help & support." - Gary P., Westlake, Ohio "A great product " "Mike, The rain barrel arrived this evening, awesome! I think I'll be ordering another one from you." - Raymond, "Hi, Mike--Thanks for such a quick reply, and for such a great product." - Gretel E., (via email) "I have been very satisfied with your barrels and have recommended them to others." PL P, Cary, NC "Love those barrels... " (see photos) "Thanks Mike, I just purchased my 6th and 7th rain barrel from you. I've had 4 of them for 2 years and love them." - Daniele W., Florida
